Biography
Ihar Kavaleu is a contemporary Belarusian artist. He began his creative path with the search for free forms in abstract impressionism, realizing the shift of clear edges of figurativeness into free space, giving the works the illusion of movement and controlled chaos. Ihar's creativity: the search for color solutions, avoiding static, the technique of one stroke, the movement of the palette knife pen along the plane of the material - everything serves a key goal: to embody a special semantic meaning in each picture. For a certain period of time he worked on paintings in a certain genre, related to the musical theme: classical music and retro style, with the search for new modernist solutions - both in style and performance technique.
Ihar Kavaleu was born in 1967 in Belarus. Participated in exhibitions of creative associations, art festivals, art fairs, auctions.
The paintings are in private collections in Russia, Israel, France, Belgium, Germany, England and the USA.Currently lives and works in Gomel (Republic of Belarus).
