Tyshler

Igor Tyshler was born into the Tyshler family in 1954. He took up painting quite early under the tutelage of his grandfather, the famous Russian master of the avant-garde Aleksander Tyshler,. Today the work of A.G. Tyshler occupies a separate hall in the permanent collection of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.Working with his brilliant mentor, Igor Tyshler began to create his own individual style and which allowed him to capture and display fragments of his own world of wizardry and create paintings which illuminated each in its own reality.
Since 1978 his work has been exhibited more than 30 galleries around the world, in Russia,Israel,the United States,the UK, France,Canada, Germany, Finland and Austria.
Since 1996 , Igor Tyshler has lived in Montreal . His work has been called modern Surrealism,while others consider it Symbolism,or even Art Nouveau.
