Hazelshade is an artist spokesperson for femininity who has chosen to express herself through self-portraiture. This work in diptych, to be the photographer and at the same time the model, represents a creative challenge which interests him: "to play on several planes at the same time, the shooting, the pose, the styling, the outcome cannot be only imperfect but the image can still tend towards authenticity, emotion and above all expression".

Parisian, born in the early 70s, Hazelshade is a chameleon woman, her character is secretive and multi-faceted. She assumes this need to stage herself and she uses it to enter into a confidential relationship with the stranger whose gaze would be attracted by her universe.

Eternal tormented about the meaning of life, art is also for Hazelshade a way to find a way to calm down. “In my opinion, the most important advance on our personal life path is to observe, understand and accept how we act in the countless experiences and trials that we go through. The self-portrait is an artistic application modeled on this thought. We are alone with ourselves in a given decor, sometimes banal sometimes original, then we observe the presence that we have been able to impress there and finally, we accept, disappointed or on the contrary delighted, the resulting image, saying that we will do better or differently next time...".
