Absolutely impressive, almost life-size, two-part bronze sculpture combined with two large steel plates (corten steel). It depicts a male who seems to effortlessly walk through a massive steel wall. Absolutely impressive, almost life-size, two-part bronze sculpture combined with two large steel plates (corten steel). It depicts a male who seems to effortlessly walk through a massive steel wall. The facial expression remains undefined, which reinforces the universal character of the pieces and evokes a greater sense of identification in the viewer. The two-part bronze sculpture was made using the lost wax technique and still shows the green patina from the casting process. The steel wall consists of plates of corten steel. With this steel, the surface rust forms a permanent barrier layer that prevents further rusting. Each of the 49 copies of this limited edition is numbered / signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Guy Buseyne is a contemporary Belgian artist. Buseyne is a sculptor, furniture maker and graphic designer. His sculptures depict people in a society facing many challenges and attempting to overcome them. His works have indeterminate face expressions, which adds to the universality of the pieces and improves the viewer's sense of identification.
Guy Buseyne was born in 1961, in Belgium, where he graduated Plastic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in the city of Bruges.
