The picture, oil on canvas and stucco painted in 2020 (60x80) represents an elderly man sitting on a chair. What appears to us at first glance is the contrast between the elderly man's elegant suit and the crumbling wall that forms the background to the entire scene. The old man is enjoying a moment of tranquility, an atmosphere given to us also by the soft colors used, in the company of his cigar. After a whole life dedicated to work, man spends his days elegantly dressed and with great dignity, he awaits with serenity the day he will leave this world, aware and satisfied that he has lived an honest life full of emotions.
