Born in Montreal, Quebec on March 3, 1941. He graduated in Applied Arts in Montreal in 1960. He was influenced early on by his uncle, Georges H. Duhamel, doctor, sculptor and painter and by some Canadian artists such as: Borduas, Vaillancourt and Mousseau. From 1960 to 1969 he explored fiberglass and three-dimensional painting. From 1970 to 1972 he moved to Alaska where, strongly attracted by Eskimo art, he dedicated himself mainly to stone sculpture. Some of his sculptures are located at the museum of modern art in Anchorage Alaska and the rest of his production from recent years is part of private collections in Canada and the United States. Upon his return to Canada he settled in Victoria, British Columbia where he worked as a sculpture and photography teacher at the N.C.I.A. Art School. In recent years his artistic production has been very active and he holds personal and collective exhibitions both in Canada and in the USA. At the beginning of 1973, in parallel with his activity as an artist and teacher, he began to explore the world of humanistic psychotherapy. He graduated in psychology from Antioch University in Seattle - U.S.A. In 1979 he obtained a specialization in Bioenergetic Analysis. He then practices as a psychoanalyst in Victoria B.C. Canada In 1986 he moved to Italy and here he once again intensified his artistic and exhibition production (sculpture, painting, photography). At the same time, he continues to be involved in psychoanalysis and teaching. He is a member of the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis and of the Societè Quebecoise de Beaux Arts. He lives in the hills of Soave in the province of Verona.
