In every city there are cosy squares, historical buildings with vast history. I love to travel and I try to show such places on canvas, giving them the atmosphere I experience with my choice of colors and strokes.
This is the painting of a monument in my beloved hometown - Klaipeda.
The city of Klaipėda was established by the Teutonic Knights (as Memelburg) in 1252. Klaipėda is a port city in Lithuania, where the Baltic sea meets Danghe river.
It's a beautiful beginning of a day when you can drift in a yacht along historical piers and modern buildings. In the old town there are buildings from the 18th century with wooden base, built in a German style.
