Autant un style qu'un mouvement pictural à l'instar du peintre Jean-Louis GAILLARD, son fondateur, le "Rondisme" veut s'inscrire, entre-autres, dans une logique de post-cubisme, au-delà des apports des formes circulaires d'un Delaunay, ou tubulaires de Fernand Léger. L'artiste s'efforce, avec succès, de développer une nouvelle esthétique européenne, positionnant les graphismes et les couleurs comme autant d'éléments essentiels. Avec une modernité ayant su intégrer les démarches de l'abstraction lyrique, c'est à partir de courbes et de plans convergents vers l'expression du motif, que GAILLARD accompagne le spectateur, dans une autre dynamique du Beau, d' équilibres de formes en tonalités vives... Comme à pu l' évoquer Cézanne, si tout tend à la rotondité dans la Nature - de la pomme... à tous les cosmo-morphismes - Jean-Louis GAILLARD propose, quant à lui, une formulation qui libère le sujet du plan de la toile, par l'élaboration d'architectures atypiques; Il a su exprimer la tendance naturelle des éléments du sujet à leur propre auto-reconstruction en image. Version anglaise:As much a style as a pictural trend, and following the example of the painter Jean-Louis GAILLARD, his founder, "Roundism" wants to meet a post-cubism logic, beyond the contributions of Delaunay's circular shapes, or Fernand Léger's tubular ones. The artist successfully tries to develop a new European aesthetics, using graphism and colours as essential elements. With a modernity that integrates the approaches of lyric abstraction, Gaillard drives the spectators from curves and convergent planes towards an expression of the pattern, through another dynamics of Beauty, of shape equilibrium and of tone brightness. As evoked by Cezanne, as everything in Nature tends to roundness - from apples to all cosmo-morphisms- Gaillard proposes, as for him, a formulation that frees the subject from the painted surface, through an elaboration of atypical architectures. He was able to express the natural tendency of the elements of the subject to a self-reconstruction of their own image. This is why Jean-Louis Gaillard reveals how to master the shape memory of the objective components of reality after making it abstract. Games of three-dimensionalities, synoptism, insight, Jean-Louis Gaillard, while safeguarding the substance of our artistic and cultural cradle, innovates nowadays quite a relevant work, differenciated from american and asiatic pictural production.
