"Crimson Divide | Digital Abstraction" (2020) Photography by Gaboriau Gérald
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Gérald Gaboriau: Contemporary Calligraphy Artist and Self-Taught Creator
From shadow to light, Gérald Gaboriau embodies a unique artistic journey, marked by a quest for authentic and liberating expression. Born in 1977 in Saint-Cloud (France), this self-taught artist has transformed his personal exploration into a distinctive artistic signature, where color transcends matter to touch the soul.
Passionate about calligraphy and contemporary art, Gaboriau boldly fuses ancient Japanese traditions with Western contemporary expression. Through the practice of Sumi-e, he captures the essence of emotions in a single fluid stroke, creating works where the contrast between deep black and luminous white becomes a powerful metaphor for the balance between shadow and light. Each creation is the result of a meditative process, embodying the Zen philosophy of the present moment and perfect harmony between technical mastery and creative surrender.
His artistic approach draws from a diverse range of inspirations: ancient mythologies, Eastern philosophies, and immersive sensory experiences. Using noble materials such as premium Chinese ink, Raphaël brushes, and traditional Japanese paper, he skillfully blends millennia-old traditions with a resolutely contemporary vision. His works transcend boundaries between abstraction and symbolic narration, inviting each viewer to a unique introspective experience.
Mural art takes center stage in his work. Gaboriau designs his creations as immersive spaces capable of transforming living or working environments into sanctuaries of regenerative energy. His murals organically interact with surrounding architecture, subtly playing with natural light to create vibrant and memorable atmospheres.
After overcoming significant personal challenges, Gaboriau discovered in art a powerful tool for inner transformation. This revelation profoundly influenced his artistic practice, which he enriched with an approach where every creative gesture becomes a vector for emotional and spiritual rebirth. Today, he develops custom-made creations as well as spaces for free expression that allow each person to explore their own inner journey.
In 2025, Gérald Gaboriau offers a complete and transformational artistic experience. More than an artist, he positions himself as an emotional guide and conduit to inner resonance. His works are not simply paintings: they become mirrors of the soul where each viewer can find a deep echo of their aspirations and existential questions.
