Démarche artistique
Passionné par le bois et le travaillant depuis 40 ans ,j'ai toujours rêvé de faire de la peinture .
il fallait juste mettre au point une technique qui permette de donner l'aspect de la peinture.
Le bois comme peinture
La transparence de la matière(placages de bois ) et la compression après collage de différents placages permet de mélanger des couleurs et les dessins de chaque essence de bois .
Le rendu de ce procédé s'obtient par ponçage de chaque couche .
Au final on obtient un aspect de peinture où tous les styles peuvent être abordés
Cette matière complexe, (chaque essence de bois est différente de par sa couleur ,ses fibres , ect) ,fait que chaque oeuvre est unique.
Cette technique n'est plus de la Marqueterie ,mais se rapproche davantage de la peinture .
