Francesco Antonietti, studied Art and Art-history at the Academy in Eindhoven and specialised as an artist in seascape and still-life-paintings.
Characteristic for his work is his feeling for fine details. Regular exhibitions are held of his work in the Netherlands and abroad. As a professional artist, he runs a gallery in Middelburg. ( atelier28 )
What is striking in his paintings is the way that he combines technical skills with lucidity using a surprisingly rich colour spectrum. He has developed in his paintings, a personal style which radiates a fresh atmosphere. Since 2018 Francesco makes especially seascape and dune paintings with oil. The sea offers him the inspiration to combine tranquillity and strength, rest and activity.
