Florene M. Welebny ( Florene ) is a former interior designer and visual-display specialist whose extensive travels have influenced and added to her love of art and the way she views her environment. She is an artist of whom peers say, “She paints with her camera.”
She creates mainly abstract works by using special filters, lenses, and camera techniques –‘breaking the rules’ so that others can see this extraordinary world from her perspective. In 2009, she became an instructor of Creative Abstract Photography at The Alliance for the Arts, Creative Photo, and at the Cape Coral Arts Studio. Her newest work just debuting, takes her Abstract photography 1 step further. She uses post processing to create what she calls Contemporary Impressionism.
Her subjects range from classic to contemporary; from Abstract to Fx. She yearns to share her life’s passion and invite the viewer to take a moment to study a piece and; understand its meaning.
Florene Welebny lives and works in Cape Coral (USA). she has participated in many exhibitions: Arts for ACT Gallery - Fort Myers (Florida, USA), Lee County Alliance for the Arts, Fort Myers, (Florida, USA) - Solo Show… Her work got awards and has been published in different magazines.
