New experiments

This is one of several installations Betz has created exploring the relationship between static drawing and the reference of the drawing- the dynamic video. This piece specifically focuses on two separate but identical wooden roller coasters in Virginia and North Carolina, USA. Betz uses the roller coaster as a metaphor for the complex narrative of human fear in the challenge and survival in our contemporary world.
