Esma Dinçer, painter and photographer, was born in Istanbul in 1958 and still resides in Turkey. Since childhood, she developed an interest in the visual arts and began to draw occasionally in pencil. One day, she reproduced the portrait of a famous Turkish artist that she had seen in a newspaper, thus realizing her own artistic talent. Over the years, she decided to pursue an art education, specializing in acrylic and oil painting.
Despite family circumstances that led her to interrupt her university studies, Esma graduated from high school and also enjoys poetry and writing, sharing her works on online platforms such as "Edebiyat Defteri" and " Antoloji.com". She particularly enjoys creating paintings of landscapes, nature and flowers, working on canvas and participating in online art exhibitions, especially on Ula Sanat.
In 2000, she won a prize in watercolor painting issued by the Turkish Institute for Women's Coordination and Computer Training, approved by the Ministry of National Education. Esma finds great joy in the practice of painting throughout her life, expressing her gratitude towards the creativity that endeared her to this art. She is delighted to be able to shed light on the future through her works and appreciates the beautiful friendships and artistic exchanges she finds on the Artmajeur platform, by communicating with artists from different countries.
Regarding its humanitarian commitment, Esma plans to support regions affected by large earthquakes in Turkey, including Hatay, Iskenderun, Adiyaman, Adana, Malatya, Kilis, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir and Erzincan, using the income generated by the sale of his works of art. She recently participated in an auction to raise funds for earthquake victims. She wants all countries to be protected against such disasters.
