Born in Southwest Louisiana, and reside there today. I am a self tought artist with no art training. It is my opinion that in order to really create art, it is important to figure it out for yourself. It is hard to say that a certain creation came from your own imagination when you use another artists style to transfer it to canvas. At times it is quite challenging to overcome obstacles in the production of a piece, but that is what makes the piece. Much of my non-sports creations are based on hard times that I have endured (as I'm sure we all have). It is only right that my art be expressed in this manner and my style be a true representation of my feelings. Because many share the same trials and tribulations, just in different settings, I believe that I am doing the viewer or buyer of my works justice by allowing them to relate to the true feelings captured on canvas.
