Born in Hebei, China, in 1964 Eric Guo graduated in Oil Painting at the Fine Arts Academy. He later completed his studies at the Central Academy of Art and Design as a professional photography, focusing on the image and moving towards Fine Art Photography. He spent a year in the rural villages of China to experiment the country life and shoot black and white medium format photos. He lives and works in Hangzhou, where he currently has his photographic studio.
