Mimi Eres is a contemporary Italian painter and sculptor. She focuses primarily on 3 themes: Abstractionism, Suprematism, and Constructivism. Realistic subjects are reduced (abstracted) to their basics of structure, through the arrangement of shapes, colors and lines.
Her creations are born from the integration and experimentation of different materials, basically wood and metals, from the research of their limits and multiple potentialities. Eres integrates the different elements, shapes, colors and materials, filtering them into a unitary but dynamic vision, which creates interest and curiosity in the observer, challenging him to use the power of his imagination and project him into an alternative and different world.
