Poète à ses heures,Yannick Mouré, peintre autodidacte d’origine tourangelle, crée des œuvres figuratives aux formes synthétisées emprises dans un réseau de lignes complexes. La solidité du dessin, la palette vive et contrastée font de ces dernières des images puissantes de vie, tout à la fois symboliques et oniriques. Parce qu’ « un tableau ne vit que par celui qui le regarde » (Pablo Picasso), la clé de voûte qui lie intimement l’ensemble de la production de ce « faiseur d’images » comme il se nomme lui-même, est ce désir de créer de l’interaction. Artisan du mot et du pinceau, il multiplie idées et messages en usant de symboles, de jeux de mots, de clins d’œil … qui ont pour effet d’intriguer, de faire sourire, de pousser à la réflexion celui qui observe ses œuvres. Cet intérêt pour la confluence des points de vue (« Seuls comptent les liens qui se tissent entre le spectateur et l’œuvre » dit-il) se retrouve dans sa série de « clones » au nombre infini (ou presque) de combinaisons. Repoussant la limite physique de la toile par son morcellement en modules autonomes qui, une fois assemblés, forment un tout fluctuant mais toujours cohérent, il nous incite à nous questionner en nous proposant un point de vue contraire à la notion d’homme formaté et contraire aussi à l’existence d’une vérité unique. Sans nul doute, regarder les œuvres de Yannick Mouré réclame de l’implication, sans que pour autant la saveur de la contemplation en soit sacrifiée.
