Skull Art Queen with Butterflies - Limited Edition of 10 (2016)
This digital painting is a unique and original work that belongs to a series of digital paintings I created, having the skull as the main theme.
Skulls have been used as art and decoration for centuries, but have gained immense popularity only recently. There is no limit to the ways skulls can be and are used in art today. From million-dollar jewel-encrusted skulls to department store reproductions, every skull lover can find the one that suits their taste. The skull is one of the most attractive and fashionable motifs around. But for some people, the skull means more than just another design, but rather a statement. With its simple yet iconic silhouette, deep meanings, and superior versatility, there’s no doubt that the skull will remain an icon for a very long time.

My art is a form of expression and an extension of my personality. My creative mind never stops, and everything around me is an inspiration to my work, even the most minor and insignificant things in life. For me, art is becoming a source for searching, processing, and ultimately making peace with varied experiences. I am an incredibly visceral person, and in many ways, I put myself wholeheartedly into each artwork. I never focus on specific art styles and themes as I do not want to frame myself within a particular kind of technique and be more loyal to my feelings and imagination. I sometimes find the beauty in ugly things and transfer them into powerful and unique artwork. For the past 20 years, my work has almost always stayed rooted in a personal mash-up of feelings, moments, and things I pump from life. Although there may not always be theme similarities, they connect by the richness of imagination and perfectionistic details, and my philosophy is consistent. Each work consists of a range of different meanings, and ‘Communication’ with my audience is what I have in mind when I design. I never have hidden messages, and I love it when viewers express different emotional reactions and perceptions for each artwork of mine. It's a blessing to be able to design and be creative. It gives a sense of accomplishment, harmony, and relaxation.
