This is a multi faced portrait of singer songwriter and gamer Daniel Angelus. In it I wanted to capture not only the various guises that a professional performer displayed to the outside spectators, but also his inner demons that he has struggled with. Daniel is an active mental health advocate. Here the serpent becomes the bodily manifestation of his angst. The chains that can tie him down.
The other side is the public persona of the handsome idol. On the right Daniel looks upward and is serene with earphones capturing his creative productions that are so much part of who e is.
I met Daniel on a beach quite randomly. As I am drawn to creatives I couldn't resist connecting with the tall dark guy, standing in the sea with a guitar. He was filming his new music video.
This portrait is part of my Special People series.
