"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This was one of the pieces selected by a panel of judges for the annual student art show. I had my own display at Marymount University.
The second piece of the mystical series called Rapture it continues the astrological theme showing the contrast between day and night. During the day, everything is bright and sunny. You receive very positive thoughts. Waking up refreshed and revived to start your day. You seem to have more energy. It may influence qualities such as being outgoing, funny, and quirky.
Materials: Acrylic paint, sharpie oil paint, and markers.
* Note: the stifling technique was used as well as sponge application
At night, your energy level is more reserved. Unless you are one of those ones who sleep during the day then come out at night. Nothing like laying on the grass to watch the moon and the stars and make a wish. They say the moon controls everything including the tides and other elements. It brings out the crazy in people where the other side is shy, moody, and antisocial. Sometimes you may lash out for no reason.

My name is Tracie Sperling. I am 27 years old and live in Falls Church, VA. I graduated from Marymount University with a B.A in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Fashion Design and Business Administration. I have a background in art as well. Through networking, I have been told I could incorporate my art as actual fabric designs.
As far as my background, I have been artistically inclined since seven years old. My Mom would hang up my drawings on the refrigerator with pride and call me her “ picassoette” because I started developing an abstract style at a young age and my art work was always different compared to others. In college, I started painting working with mixed media of acrylic paint, sharpie oil paint and even makeup. I have a couple of past exhibitions where I was selected by a panel of judges for the annual Marymount art show to have my own display twice in a row.
Creativity is key to success, even though it is often turned down. People are afraid to be different due to criticism, but we are born with a unique set of qualities. I personally believe everyone is born with natural, God-given talents, but not all have access. Natural talent is admired, but working hard to achieve a certain skill is more appreciated. As song writer, Lady Gaga indicates, each individual is “born a certain way with a purpose in life”. “There is nothing wrong with living who you are because god made you perfect”(Born This Way, 2011). This brings me to another concept. Imperfections are acceptable. Not everyone is perfect and you don’t necessarily have to look like someone off the cover of a magazine…even though that is seen as ideal. Women come in all shapes and sizes. In art, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
