Hungarian born artist Tibor Simon-Mazula works intuitively, taking refuge in the physical and tactile aspects of painting. He draws upon his background in mathematics, filmmaking, and cinematography to create dream-like scenes. His oil paintings incorporate materials such as bone ash, marble dust, and alum.

In 2016, his art was on display at DAX Gallery in Costa Mesa next to the works of Keith Haring. In 2018 his paintings were shown in the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts. Along with the numerous awards, his artworks have been published in magazines and books, such as American Art Collector and Art Reveal Magazine.
