De Niamey à Paris en passant par Islamabad, Damas ou Tanger, Tanit a grandi influencée par d'innombrables sonorités, lumières et couleurs.
Alliant métal, ciment, bois, acrylique, résine, sa technique mixte, est le fruit de ce métissage entre différentes cultures.
En ce sens, sa recherche artistique vise à restituer ce sentiment de faire partie d'un tout, et cependant d'être irrémédiablement unique, ces interrogations immuables et infinies sur notre place dans le monde, l’univers.
Le travail de la matière se fait en cherchant à y imprimer le mouvement, la lumière, la vie, froisser le métal, sublimer le béton, s’affranchir de la pesanteur, permettre un jeu de transparence où l'air devient, lui aussi, un matériau à part entière.
Ainsi, à l’instar des haïkus, il s'agit de chercher l’expression « juste » d’un sentiment, d’un son, d’une odeur, d'un souffle, de rendre perceptible l’immatériel, de figer l’éphémère.
A travers des œuvres, tantôt figuratives, tantôt abstraites, l'invitation est alors faite à chacun de s’interroger, de s’émerveiller, de se laisser aller à des émotions poétiques.
