PERPETU’ELLE
Le mouvement perpétuel s’apparente à une œuvre dont une grande partie doit être répétée un certain nombre de fois sans que la "continuité" de la mélodie ne s'arrête quand la répétition commence.
N'ayant ni début ni fin, le cercle symbolise l’unité, l’infini, la perfection, l’éternité, le mouvement, la perpétuation, les cycles.
Perpétu’Elle est la fusion de ces 2 réflexions, l’une émanant, du mouvement perpétuel en musique joué par différents compositeurs, tels Bela Bartok dans son concerto pour orchestre ou Chostakovitch dans sa symphonie n°4, et l’autre émanant du symbolisme du cercle.
Cette sculpture est réalisée en BRONZE, patine bleu nuit, dans la fonderie BATHEMEMY à CREST dans la Drôme provençale.
Female nude entitled PERPETU'ELLE because of the position taken by the model, a very flexible dancer who closes her body on itself in a dynamic of perpetual cycle, life that curves on itself, aware of itself and that creates again and again...
PERPETU'ELLE
The perpetual movement is akin to a work, much of which must be repeated a number of times without the "continuity" of the melody stopping when the repetition begins. Having neither beginning nor end, the circle symbolizes unity, infinity, perfection, eternity, movement, perpetuation, cycles. Perpetu'Elle is the fusion of these two reflections, one emanating, of the perpetual movement in music played by different composers, such as Bela Bartok in his concerto for orchestra or Shostakovich in his symphony No. 4, and the other emanating from the symbolism of the circle.
This sculpture is made of BRONZE, midnight blue patina, in the BATHEMEMY foundry in CREST in the Drôme Provençale.

Sylvie Bourely is a contemporary French sculptor. The female body has always inspired her, and studies in the field of fashion have sharpened her sense of observation, proportions and rigor. In her latest series of sculptures she is entirely dedicated to the production of female nudes mainly made of sandstone with white extrafine chamotte.
For the artist working the clay is like awakening the creative energy, embodied by the soul of the feminine. When she touches the clay, at that moment she enters into connection with it: it then allows her to release from its flesh the feminine content contained. The sculpture, once completed, comes to life, exuding the emotion that everyone sees it can feel according to their own experience.
