Biography
Sylvain Manguer, born in 1963 in Guyana, is a digital artist and photographer steeped in the travels and experiences of his long military career. After exploring the world, he retreats to immerse himself in his memories, nourishing his creativity with nostalgic moments. Inspired by encounters with artists, poets and musicians throughout his life, he expresses these experiences through his works, inviting spectators to discover and interpret them.

Au début, je voyais un vieil hindou... Houlà, il faut que je change mes verres de lunettes!
Et là! Touche pas à ma rose semble t-elle dire! "superbe"
Là, je penche plus pour une jolie Syrphe...... ;-)
Ce que cette femme voit a l'air terrible et on sent bien que sa main ne suffit pas à l'en protéger, tout au plus à contenir son cri ou sa douleur. Je trouve votre photo admirable à tous points de vue.
C'est le premier portrait d'une femme d'âge mûr que je fais entrer dans ma collection "Une certaine idée des femmes". Je réalise que c'est aussi la première fois que j'y introduis le regard d'un homme. Je vous remercie pour la beauté de votre regard.
