Si tratta di composizioni esteticamente armoniche tra formelle di legno decorate a mano con tecniche miste. Ciascuna formella si relaziona alle altre attraverso un design appositamente studiato per ottenere un equilibrio visivo dinamico – ma bilanciato – tra il senso del movimento e il senso di staticità.
Una compenetrazione di simboli tratti dalla natura, dal mondo animale o vegetale, universale e astrale, segni ancestrali di mondi lontani che, nella nostra epoca, si miscelano tra loro (emblemi africani, iraniani, aztechi, hawaiani), elaborati da Stefania Zini, con uno stile ordinato, pulito e chiaro, alla stregua – si potrebbe dire – dell’arte e artigianato dei paesi scandinavi. Su tutto regna l’essenzialità assoluta, da leggere come messaggio d una ricerca d’equilibrio che non si limiti soltanto all’arte ma che, attraverso l’arte, possa giungere ad una sensibilizzazione sulle tematiche di salvaguardia ambientale e naturale del mondo che ci circonda.

I Quadri a Quadretti (QaQ) sono composizioni eco-simboliche, una serie di pezzi unici numerati, dove la scelta dei materiali, delle finiture e dei temi proposti nei disegni, si ispirano alla natura, in una logica di salvaguardia dell'ambiente e di un coinvolgimento etico artistico verso tutti i temi in difesa della biodiversità. Pensate e realizzate con passione con materiale di risulta o di riuso, sono dipinte a mano senza l'utilizzo di stencil. La freschezza del "segno" semplice abbinato al calore del legno crea una composizione evocativa, arte primitiva e moderna al tempo stesso.
Caratteristiche tecniche e materiale utilizzato:
- Piastrelle in listellare di abete e di pino;
- Piastrelle in multistrato di betulla finlandese;
- Legno di recupero e/o di provenienza da coltivazioni certificate;
- Colla vinilica all'acqua;
- Pittura, colorazione e verniciatura protettiva del legno con prodotti all'acqua e/o pigmenti e cere naturali;
- Dimensioni tot. cm. 70 x 70 h. x 4,8 /3,8 sp.;
Quadri a Quadretti n.20 e n.21 sono stati montati su pannello di legno spessore 1 cm. ma si possono appendere in maniera libera a muro; ciascuno ha un foro sul retro in cui è sufficiente inserire un chiodo fissato a parete.
