Stas Royze is an artist working in a modern abstract style. The main theme of his work is the knowledge of the world beyond ordinary reality, the knowledge of the foundations and root causes of the origin of all things.
In his work, Stas Royze combines the traditional principles of abstract painting, abstract expressionism and philosophical motives based on the knowledge and spiritual practices of the East.
Stas Royze began his way in southern Russia. Now he constantly lives and works in St. Petersburg (Russia). The influence of the colour of the south and the grim beauty of the northern metropolis influenced the artist’s work. Sometimes incompatible things are combined in his works, such as a riot of colour, restraint of the composition, expressive presentation and a verified concept.
The author’s works are in private collections in North America, Western, and Eastern Europe, Asia. Stas Royze is a regular participant in individual and collective exhibitions.
