Sorin Apostolescu, born in 1960 in the small town of Azuga in the Carpathian Mountains, is a distinguished contemporary Romanian artist. He pursued his studies and artistic development in both Romania and France. As a member of the SLBA (Société Lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts) in Lyon, Apostolescu has showcased his work extensively through numerous exhibitions across Romania, France, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.

His artistic achievements have been recognized internationally. An international jury, evaluating his career in Europe and the United States, nominated and accepted him for inclusion in the prestigious art catalog "INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY MASTERS Vol IV," published by World Wide Art Books in California.
