Radoslaw Keler
Radoslaw Keler, a contemporary Polish sculptor, pursued his artistic education at the faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where he specialized in sculpture under the guidance of Professor Zbigniew Makarewicz, graduating in 2005. Subsequently, his journey led him to become an assistant in the Study of Sculpting Techniques-Stone, under the mentorship of Ryszard Gluza, starting in 2007.
Fueled by a deep appreciation for the human body and the techniques employed by the Old Masters, Keler finds fascination in the beauty of traditional materials, with a particular emphasis on natural stone. His artistic vision seamlessly integrates modernity with tradition, resulting in a body of work that reflects a harmonious blend of contemporary concepts and classical craftsmanship.
Keler employs a diverse range of materials, both synthetic and traditional, such as clay, plaster, sandstone, marble, granite, and bronze, showcasing his versatility and skill across mediums. Beyond his personal creations, he dedicates his talents to crafting commissioned sculptures, spanning architectural and garden pieces, monuments, portraits, bas-reliefs, memorial plaques, medals, and statuettes.
For Keler, the process of drawing and modeling from nature holds significant importance in his creative journey. Immersing himself in the study of the nude is a vital aspect, providing a comprehensive exploration that inspires new and more direct considerations. Through meticulous observation of the intricate construction of the human body, Keler seeks to distill the essence, employing synthesis to capture the truth about humanity and recognize the perfection of creation that he confronts.

Article
Fascinated with the beauty of traditional materials, especially of natural stone, inspired by human body and artistry of old masters, in my work I combine modernity with tradition.
Drawing and modeling from nature is for me a very important part of the creative process. Study of a nude is necessary, extensive issue, encouraging new, more direct considerations. Observing thoroughly, for hours, the complicated construction of human body and complex transformation of certain forms into other and vice versa, trying to grasp the most important thing in several minutes via synthesis, rejecting all unnecessary details, I try to get to the core, to the truth about man, and to realize what a perfect Creation I face.
