It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. Depuis ma plus tendre enfance, j’ai toujours eu beaucoup de plaisir à dessiner. Dès que je voyais des crayons, il fallait que je dessine. C’était plus fort que moi. J’attrapais n’importe quel feutre ou crayon de couleur et je me mettais inévitablement à dessiner. Hélas, mon père me destinait à une autre carrière, « une carrière de fille », comme il disait ! Ma mère était partie depuis bien longtemps et pour mon père, le dessin n’était pas un métier. Mon enfance très difficile avec des placements de famille en famille m’a permis d’acquérir une certaine force pour combattre et une envie de reconnaissance qui aujourd’hui aiguise mon désir de vivre, de travailler la peinture et d’exposer. Je suis passée de petits boulots en petits boulots. En particulier, j’ai beaucoup travaillé avec des personnes âgées, pour lesquelles j’ai une grande tendresse.
Enfin, au tournant de la quarantaine, alors que je cherchais de la décoration pour ma maison, et que je ne parvenais pas à trouver ce que je cherchais, je me suis mise à peindre. Je m’inspirais de ce que je voyais, parfois même je faisais des copies. C’est ainsi que j’ai pu enfin commencer à réaliser mon rêve.
Jusqu’ici, peindre ou dessiner avait toujours été un interdit pour moi, et je m’étais autocensurée, comme murée dans la condamnation de mon art par mon père. Puis, mes obligations familiales ont fait que je n’ai pas eu le temps dont j’avais besoin pour exercer mon art. C’est seulement une dizaine d’années plus tard que , grâce à une rencontre qui me fera prendre confiance, je reprendrai les pinceaux.
Je peignais de petites choses et parallèlement, je fabriquais des lampes, que je vendais à droite et à gauche. Je ne me sentais pas capable de vendre mes toiles. Mais cette personne m’a conseillé de cesser les lampes et de poursuivre dans la peinture, pour laquelle j’avais manifestement plus de talent. Très vite, c’est devenu une obsession. Je ne pouvais plus m’arrêter de peindre. Je me réveillais la nuit, j’avais un besoin ardent de mettre les mains dans la matière : peinture et pinceaux.
Ma démarche artistique ? Je n’en ai pas. Ça vient des tripes, ou du cœur. Je n’ai pas d’idée ou de concept sur ma peinture. C’est mon souffle, ce qui me permet d’avancer. C’est comme une pile électrique sans laquelle la machine ne peut fonctionner. Dans ma maison, il y a de la peinture partout sur les sols, sur les murs et dans chaque tiroir, et j’aime cette matière débordante de vie. Et les milliers d’admirateurs de ma peinture sur le net me nourrissent et me réchauffent le cœur.
Ma peinture est un mélange de figuratif et d’abstrait. J’ai quelques thèmes de prédilection : les nus féminins, les images enfantines , les visages. Et j’ai plein d’autres projets, dont certains plus subversifs …..
Je suis aujourd'hui installée an Occitanie,dans le charmant village de Caux dans l'Hérault (34720) ou j'ai ouvert mon atelier-galerie dans lequel je vous recevrais avec plaisir.
