"Japanese kiss" is included in the popular series of my author's paintings "Kisses of the World". Each picture reflects the "aftertaste", the aroma of a particular national culture, as I feel it... A kiss is something intimate, intimate, and at the same time ... sensual. Abstract expressionist painting is also sensual and is able to convey the whole range of associations and feelings that the artist experiences. My painting is like a kiss of national culture, my innermost feelings for it, as a declaration of love for a particular people for their identity, for their art, for their traditions and way of life, which all together made such a charming impression on me. They say that " beauty will save the world." Love beauty as I love it!

The painting is created in a mixed technique, the basis is acrylic on canvas, as well as pasted paper fragments of the artist's drawings. Thanks to this approach, a multi-layered, modern picture is obtained, filled with various meanings, signs, associations and allegories... which can be" read "and" decoded " indefinitely.

My path as an artist began in the late 80's of the 20th century in Moscow. I am a fashion designer by education. The main event for me as an artist was a meeting with my Master, the famous Moscow abstract artist Yuri Mironov. I personally studied abstract painting with him, for which I am sincerely grateful to him. Then there were many group and personal exhibitions. My works were purchased by Amateurs and collectors from different countries, including Russia, Germany, USA, Austria, Finland and others.
In the mid-90's, I left the art market and started developing digital technologies, computer graphics in various forms. I have dedicated about 15 years of my life to this. So now I drew only in the computer, using photoshop, 3D graphics, my own photo shoot.Since I am a hereditary photographer (my father and older brother were photographers), I have always been engaged in photography. It seemed to me then that painting was already a very archaic occupation, but "figure" .. this is new and powerful...Such opportunities open up.
Many years have passed. I can do a lot with an image on a computer (almost everything), my taste has developed, my eye has honed, and.... I'm back to simple tools: canvas, brush, paint, felt-tip pen, paper.... I started enjoying this magic drawing game again!

Painting and drawing help me Express emotions, feelings, and even thoughts that are not expressed in other ways. And nothing can replace working in a large format, painting a picture as tall as yourself is impressive! Usually, I also write a text for each picture, but it is born later, when the picture is already named and sent to the world.
I also like small shapes, I like to draw on paper, using everything you can: pastels, gouache, ink, pencils, markers, and more.
