I am constantly working on improving myself as a person, inside and out, now more than ever. Self actualization and self realization are such a hard racket, struggling and learning and growing, bettering yourself for yourself, so that you can become a more complete person. Allowing yourself to give more freely and with more honesty from a pure heart and a sound mental and emotional state of mind should be every persons goal. And it all starts with accepting your downfalls, and claiming ownership of who you are and what you want to become. Take it step by step, one day at a time, knowing that no changes happen over night, and that it takes an insurmountable effort in progress to achieve that personal enlightenment. When we find ourselves, and things that we want to change and have the strength and bravery to step up and face it with a determination that is unmatched by our prosperity, we will find all we are looking for.
I struggle with many obstacles in my life that I wish to overcome for my own personal embetterment. These things don’t turn around in the blink of an eye, and everyday I try to put forth a strong effort towards achieving my goals and becomming the person I want to be, living the life I want to live. Jordan's Prayer (Jordy's Prayer)
The Gospel acc. to Jordan
Chapter 16:1&2
For my happiness, today, I will put forth a strenuous effort to be at peace, making better choices; growing and self improving through skillfully balanced insight, wisdom and emotion; accepting the certainty of uncertainty, without attachment to the outcome; giving all I have to understand rather than trying to be understood, and working toward having correct understanding which is the product of a tolerant and open mind; seeking nothing but truth and true enlightenment, trust and patience, perseverance and the strength to walk a genuine path beset by honest speech, and fruitful actions.
Poetry
"Winters Love Without Winds"
She pulls out a cigarette from her pack,
as he smoothly lights her smoke up quick,
having fumbled through the contents,
of his deep and cluttered packets.
While following her out the door swiftly,
from the comfort of the glowing home,
onto the chilly evening stoop alone,
just her and him sat down on the stairs.
On the way out he had remembered,
a hat and scarf, with his arm around her,
sitting snuggly under the dim lit stars,
bodies beaming the sole source of heat,
She shines and they become jealous,
she warms: body, mind and soul.
No words escape foggy breath exhales,
no words seem to be needed this eve,
her head nuzzled in the side of his neck,
she puffs on her smoke ever so gently,
slow enough to hear his heart beating,
quiet enough to feel his blood pumping.
Love is felt in the tightness of her grip,
and in adoring eyes as she looks at him,
and in the silent soulfully deep stares,
and in each cold winters night breath,
sharing his jacket to stay out of the wind.

"Skin & Bones"
These new days get warm, but it is cold outside.
Damp cotton clouds, glossed over & wide eyed.
Her sweet breeze softly, eats me alive.
Whispers of wonders, she gets inside.
Now I am paralized, by sad lullabies.
These bones will remain, after I have died.
My skin wrinkles under all the tears she cried.
Her sweet breeze softly, eats me alive.
Whispers of wonders, she gets inside.
Now I am paralized, by sad lullabies.
Damp cotton pillows have shared the long ride.
These old nights get cold, but is it warm outside.

"I could, I will."
I could be happy, I will be trying.
I could be working, I will need money.
I could be free, I will feel trapped.
I could be empty, I will be full.
I could be inside, I will be on my side.
I could be lovely, I will be looked at.
I could be something, I will be nothing.
I could be yours, I will be no ones.
I could be myself, I will be whats expected.
I could be surrounded, I will be alone.
I could be enough, I will be less than.
I could be cared for, I will be let down.
I could be loved, I will be worthy.
I could be honest, I will be believed in.
I could be happy, I will be one day.

"Cheol (She'ole)"
She lifted my spirits
with a word and a smile,
havent felt that connection
no no not for a long while,
She knew all about me
as the light caught my eye,
She wanted all of me
before I even said hi,
My soul longed to sing out
though we both must keep quiet.
Iv known her from past lives
and have now found you again,
The one I have lived for
you filled me within,
I gave her my heart
more than again and again,
we danced through the ages
a bond bigger than sin.
We explore for hours
what we know to be right,
we resist and pull back
and even try to fight,
but no matter what comes
we're still in our sights,
so we'll stay up late talking
into all hours of the night,
getting lost in each other
the most perfect of nights.

"I, and I Without"
I feel like I could catch on fire
turn life to dust for her pleasure
but I still need the flame inside her.
My lungs can breathe all on their own
one last clean gasp cant be a hinder
but I still need the air inside her.
Once innocent eyes try to see beauty
a visual feast of memories my treasure
but I am still half blind without her.
I can feel love without her touch
no arms wrapped around for good measure
but I still need the heart inside her.
I can even spread my wings and fly
free and clear like a first time offender
but I still cant soar on high without her.

Jordan's Beliefs and Principals
Jordan's Principals to True Understanding and Enlightenment for a Better Life and Healthier Mind & Heart (A compliation of many different belief systems and enlightment foundations)
1. Speak without offending, Listen without defending.
2. Strive for understanding, over being understood.
3. The truth about suffering, it is created solely by desire. Craving leads to rebirth, bound up with the search for pleasure and restless greed.
4. The "Right" Philosophy.
Live Thusly: Right View, Right Action. Right Speech, Right Thought. Right Livlihood, Right Effort. Right Awareness, Right Meditative Concentration.
5. Strenuous effort, skillfully balanced with insight, avoiding fanatacism, bigotry, and self punishment. Having correct understanding, honest speech, and fruitful actions.
6. The Seven Factors of True Enlightenment also known as Satori:
Awareness, Investigation, Energy, Joy, Tranquility, Concentration, and Equanimity.
7. Sati:
Heightened, Self Aware, Non-Judgemental, Non-Self Centered, Attentive to the Moment and to the Path.
8. The Not-Self Doctrine (Sabbe Dhamma Anatta):
a.) Human experience is short, unsatisfactory, inconclusive, and incoherant.
b.) Life is a series of incomplete thoughts, relationships, and actions.
c.) Experience is transient and fragmentary.
d.) Impermanence. Nothing is forever. Everything wilts and dies. Come to accept it.
e.) The Five Skandha: Form, Feel, Karma, Peception, and Conscience.
f.) There are actions, but no doer. There are dreams, but no dreamer. Peace Exists, but not the one at peace. There is a path, but none to walk it.
9. Law of Casuality:
a.) Every aspect of human life is pre-conditioned by a prior influence or conscious state of being.
b.) The Nature of truth can only be found through clear and constant research and meditation.
10. Samsara (Nirvana): "A Blowing Out, To Become Extinguished."
11. "A Wise Man understands that even in his own vast knowledge, he is limited in true understanding of all things. The smartest man knows that he is not the smartest man at all."
12. Personal Responsibility is the key to living a healthy life, in mind, body and soul, no matter what obstacles, highs or lows you may face, continency and claiming your actions will lead to spritiual and inner peace.

Seeing is Better Than Believing
Seeing is better than Believing
William Shakespeare once wrote, "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking, makes it so."
The Tao has taught me that the observer and its interpretation are fuzzy. Religious people have a hard time with this because their faith is rooted in solidity, and fuzziness is a concept that leads to doubt, questions, reasoning, and uncertainty. When in reality, it is this very uncertainty that sets us free.
Data about the external world has no meaning to us until it is processed, filtered, organized and interpreted by our minds. No matter who you are, you look at the world in a completely unique way, not like any other being. Reality itself depends solely on what is perceived and who perceives it.
Fuzziness is not a liability, as religion would have you believe. The knowledge and acceptance that the future is uncertain and holds no weight is hard for most to grasp, yet it is this very fuzziness, combined with the creativity innate in the human mind, that translates into opportunities for liberation. And this fuzziness not only appears in fable, paradoxes and artwork, it is also readily prevalent in real life.
Ultimately, we decide whether we want to be happy or sad, live in the moment or worry for the future, find peace in the simple or find turmoil in the uncertain.
The famous French Noble Peace Prize winner Montaigne observed: "A man is not hurt by what has happened, but rather by his opinion of what has happened."
For someone who has evolved into enlightenment, or satori, the world is always perfect. External reality does not have to change in order for us to be happy. The secret lies simply in our perception of it. The cliché saying, "Look for the silver lining," is all you really need.
I've had horrible bosses at several jobs in the past, now that I look back on it, after reaching enlightened, I see that regardless of how hard the job was, how shitty my boss was, he was there, in my life, being difficult, to teach me and help me grow. I see him as a kind hearted gentle soul now who did it all out of love, when as before I thought he was gruff and harsh and uncaring and was there only to punish me and make my life harder.
The beauty in this simple concept is that you don't have to worry yourself about what the good in the bad might be. Take for instance this horrid war we are in, there can be no good in it amongst death and destruction for years on end right? Wrong. While I adamantly oppose any and all military actions, murder, and illegal occupation, I have peace of mind, because I need not worry myself over things I can not control. And most importantly, I know that ultimately there is good, even if I do not know what that good may be. The external world is not going to change to make me happy, so I must change how I see it in order to make myself happy.
To turn a minus into a plus, you must only add what you see, but viewed from a different angle. Seeing things in the right way is the key to being happy. Look at the beauty of war, life and death, good versus evil, light and dark, breaking down and building up: in essence it is yin- yang, wholeness and completeness. And if you read my "Heaven on Earth" blog, you should be realizing that right here, right now, is the only thing that truly matters. Tomorrow does not even exist, it is only a thought without any guarantee.
"Two men looked out from their prison cells late one night. One man saw the miles of mud, fences and guards between himself and freedom. The other saw only the stars."
Both Buddha and Jesus displayed the same message in the power of a single word: See. Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of Heaven being here and now if only we can see it correctly, and that was some two thousand years ago. Buddha simply held up a flower and stumped the wisest minds as to its meaning. It was the simplicity of seeing things correctly. Buddha also spoke of Heaven, or Nirvana is not the natural result of the extinction of desire, it is not produced, it is not a result of cause and effect, and it is not a mystical, spiritual or mental state.
The truth is, Nirvana, or Heaven, simply Is. The only thing you can do is to see it and realize it. There is a path to reaching the realization of this Heaven on earth before you, but Heaven is not a result of your efforts along this path. Here is where Jesus broke sanctity with the Old Testament. The Pharisees from Jerusalem that wrote the Old Testament did so with purpose to control people with the reward of Heaven for good deeds and money. Jesus said, Heaven is here and now.
We can alleviate our sufferings by becoming aware of our existential situation as human beings. We are vulnerable, we are weak and we are not invulnerable to anxiety, wounds, disease, and limitations. Fate is the poetic expression of human limitations and stands as a symbol for the summation of all uncontrollable and unpredictable factors in our lives. The acknowledgement of truth, no matter how real or tragic it may be, always leads to liberation.
If we learn to accept it, truth, reality, whatever you want to call it, has no bearing, it looses its teeth, so to speak. Nietzsche remarked that ones ability to appreciate tragedy is a sign of strong character and true enlightenment. It is only when we become aware of these tragedies in our lives that we can face them head on and transform them into something beautiful by simply choosing to see it in the correct way.
Difficulties are a part of life, but most humans see them as a bad thing, when in reality, they always happen for a reason. The reason may be unknown to you, and is only difficult to accept because one chooses to make them difficult in their life. Most humans create unnecessary suffering for ourselves because we expect certain things and we desire certain things. It is the lack of accomplishment, it is the lack of obtaining, without lack of ease we try to control the uncontrollable and predict the unpredictable.
Suffering is the result of ignorance. Spiritual liberation is not a matter of hard work or achievement or trials. It is a matter of insight. The hardest things in life provide the deepest transformations within us.
Confucius said, "At fifty I knew the decrees of Heaven. At sixty, I finally heard them with docile ears." Likewise the Bible says to simply accept Gods will for your life and to surrender control. (Gods will being that there is no certainties in life and no guarantee for a tomorrow). Buddha also talks about releasing the burdens of tomorrows unknown and living today. Even AA preaches to surrender to a higher power which they still claim isnt really religious. The Koran (Qu'ran) tells of submitting to the reality that there is no control. Monks go years without speaking so that they can truly experience every waking moment of every single day and every action that it requires, giving no weight to the moment past this one.
Nearly every major belief system in the world has the same message when you break it all down and take away the man made distractions, rules, and limitations: The realization of helplessness and truly being able to see clearly is the only path to happiness. Of course, with religion they want you to feel shame for things that are natural which only leads to the creation of misery.
Picasso said, "Computers are useless, they can only give you answers."
And what he meant was that computers, like left-brained thinkers cannot entertain the intrinsic fuzziness of situations and generate new options based on the recognition of multiple possibilities. Even in simple translation, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" translated by the most modern computers, into German and then back into English ends up as, "The drink is agreeable, but the meat is too tender." Showing that when you only see things through logic you are limiting your knowledge, ability, and enlightenment.
The human mind is capable of amazingly creative inventions and visualizations, as we can see in thousands of years of artwork, writing, religion and culture. Without internal peace, without the simple art of seeing, viewing things the right way, one is forever doomed to their lifestyle of hatred, anger, worry, envy, greed and desire.
Who am I? Why am I here? What is this life? Is there afterlife? Is there a god?
These questions may not have a definitive answer, they may have no answer at all, but the raising of these questions has a healing affect all on its own. The realization that we have no clue if there is an afterlife or not is so calming and brings such peace. No need to live a certain way, no need to make others appeased by living by their rules, no feelings of shame. I don't need to know why I am here. I don't need to know what this life is.
Spiritual enlightenment and liberation is not a matter of intellectually solving life's problems or answering life's questions. It is pointless and accomplishes nothing for ones growth as a person to waste time on trivial things.
Knowing that it doesn't matter is all that really matters.
All I need to do is realize that I am here. I am me. This is life. This moment, this day, this breath, may be all I get, so I should enjoy it, see it the right way, understand it. As I said before, the world can be perfect all the time if you look at it the right way and its true. Every situation, every circumstance, every hardship, every loss, every single good or bad thing that happens, happens specifically the way it was suppose to and for all the right reasons. Live today and be mindful, be open, be quiet, and be joyful. Worry not for a tomorrow that may never come. Live simple, give freely, and love unconditionally all people no matter what. Enjoy every second. Have understanding and acceptance.
There may or may not be life after death, I don't know and it makes no difference. It doesn't matter if I go to religions version of heaven or hell, (not capitalized on purpose). It doesn't matter if I spend four hundred years decomposing as a corpse in the ground. It doesn't matter if I am reincarnated and come back as a lizard. It doesn't matter because only right now matters. True enlightenment and happiness comes from knowing that it in fact does not matter.
There may or may not be a god, I don't know. But I don't need to know. I don't need to cling onto something to feel good. I don't need to rely on something for the strength I already have within. I don't need to ask someone else's for help in matters that I should take ownership of and be responsible for without even thinking about it. I don't need to feel shame for natural human occurrences. I don't need to repent because there is no such thing as sin. I don't need to believe in something that has no meaning and makes no difference like god, the easter bunny, santa clause or leprechauns, which are all from the same inventive creations of man kinds imagination.
Our liberation as human beings depends only on seeing that we are one with our fate, we are only given right now, there are not answers to every question, we are not entitled to anything we cant give ourselves, and we are only going to be happy if we can accept multiple realities and truths seen through the different eyes of each person.

The Only Way to Reach Heaven
The Only Real Way to get to Heaven
No, this is not about religion in anyway, belief, or the afterlife.
As the wise Confucius once said, "If the living is not fully known, why bother asking about the dead". Meaning, we barely understand a tenth of a fraction of what this life we live is all about, so what is the point in worrying or thinking about what may or may not come after this life. After all, not one single person knows for sure, without a doubt, that there is any sort of afterlife at all.
You want to find heaven? Here is all you have to do…
(Not in any order of importance, as they are all equally important to any person finding the only true heaven here on earth)
1. Be Strong - In the end, all you have in this world is yourself. Your family and friends can help, but ultimately, you must rely on you to get through the ups and downs. You must put forth the necessary strength to get what you want and accomplish whatever dreams or goals you must have. Relying on anyone else makes you a weak person, inside and out.
2. Be Smart - Life is all about choices, plain and simple. Every single thing in this world, everything that happens to you, every move you make, every hill you climb, every rock you trip over, every wall you run into are all a result of a choice that you have made. Make the right ones and you will find yourself content.
3. Be Open - Listen and accept all forms of ideas, no matter how different from your own or societies they may be. Only with a truly open mind can you find inner peace and real truth.
4. Be True - To yourself most importantly. Lying to yourself is the worst kind of lying that there is, because it does far more damage than you will ever know. If you want to grow as a human being, if you want to be something, if you want people of value and worth around you, all you have to do is be honest and forthcoming.
5. Be Patient - A virtue unto itself for a reason, patience is the quintessential cornerstone for any healthy body and mind. Letting yourself become agitated or upset because things are not happening fast enough for you or along your time line only damages the inner spirit and hinders true progression. And after all, without progression, you are stagnate, and a stagnate human is a complete waste of life.
6. Be Focused - One step at a time, one goal at a time. Dont worry about the big picture. Things will always happen how and when and why they are suppose to with very little influence from you or any other force in this world. Its not a mountain as many say, its just a long road with little hills and valleys. Focusing makes sure you do not stub your tow along the way.
7. Be Persistent - Giving up is an option only the weak can afford. If you want to find heaven, if you want to be happy, you have to work at it, no matter how hard, no matter how long, no matter how tiresome, no matter how tedious, no matter what people say, no matter what anyone thinks. You have to do it for yourself, and if you give up, you will have to start over, from scratch, and that is ultimately hell on earth.
8. Be Healthy - Inside and out. Eating right and exercise are but a small part of being healthy. True health starts on the inside, it starts with thinking clearly, seeing straight, and being vigilant. All the while, a healthy body reflects on a healthy mind, the two are conjoined, and one can not be healthy without the other.
9. Be Forgiving - Cut the ball and chains of past grudges and pent up hostility. Anger and a lack of forgiveness are the root to internal turmoil and struggle. No human can be happy or content or complete with a load of hate riding on their shoulders. Nor can one even really be themselves while being weighed down by such things. If you want to be free to be you, forgive, even if you don't receive an apology.
10. Be Brave - There are many things that scare us in life, but these things are not scary. What we are scared of is our own strength to be able to handle or accomplish such things. In the end, as always, you will see that no matter what you face, no matter how hard, no matter how scary, will only make you a better, smarter, stronger person.
11. Be Thankful - Everyday, for everything you have, for everyone you have, for every life you touch, for every breath you inhale, for every smile you are able to make, and show your thankfulness in every way you can.
12. Be Passionate - Without passion there is no life. Without emotion there are no senses. Passion is the one thing in this world that you can give and receive in so many ways, and it costs you nothing. Your dreams will not come true, your goals will never be met, unless you have the passion to make them happen.
13. Be Respectful - Everyone has their own opinions, their own beliefs, their own values, and not a single person can be called wrong for what they think. We are all humans, plain and simple, and there is nothing that segregates us, not race, not creed, not background or heritage, not viewpoint, not color, not sexuality or sexual preference, or anything else you can think of. We are all Human, and the petty little differences are nothing compared to the huge gigantic similarities. Dividing ourselves over such trivial things is only a hindrance to the overall progress and evolution of mankind, not to mention your personal happiness.
14. Be Grounded - There are people all around you that are better off and worse off than you are. The only thing that really matters is that you know who you are and that you seek internal happiness, not allowing yourself to be swayed or guided by the media or by public opinion or peer pressure, or anything else that deters you from being who you really are. As the ancient saying goes, "There is no right, there is no wrong, there is only popular opinion and what you make right and wrong for you and your life".
15. Be Humble - Humility is the only true way to find yourself and find peace within yourself and within this crazy chaotic world we live in. Boastfulness, pride, egotism, self-indulgent, selfish, self-centered people may think they are happy, but inside, they are the most miserable and pathetic people to ever live.
16. Be Practical - Only through logic and reason will you be able to accurately see the truth and accept the truth, no matter what it is. Especially in this world which is driven on bias, one-sided, extremist viewpoints and beliefs. Live beyond your means and they will catch up to you making you crash into the ground. Sensibility will never steer you wrong.
17. Be Hopeful - Things can and will get better, but only if you believe they will. Whatever feelings you send out into the world will come back to you and guide where your life goes. Apply yourself and your goals and dreams will always be within reach. Even if it looks too hard, or that it might take too long, or that it might never happen at all, just preserver and you can make it happen.
18. Be Balanced - Life really is like a fence or a tight rope, walk gentle, and do not lean too far to the left or right or you will find yourself falling hard and it will be a fall that not only hurts you, but everyone around you. This applies to beliefs in religion, politics, philosophy, and anything else you can think of. The middle of the road has no edges to make you slip.
19. Be Moderate - Anything in excess will lead you into despair and downfall. Nothing good can ever come from over-indulging. Production and progress depend solely on your ability to control your urges, control your desires, and control your tongue. This applies to beliefs, substances, food, friends, sex, love, drugs, and anything else you can think of.
20. Be Hate-less - There is no more useless emotion or feeling than hate. Nothing good has ever or will ever come from hating anything or anyone, so do not waste your time or your energy on something that only deteriorates the very fabric of your inner peace.
And that is it. Follow those simple 20 guidelines and you will find true bliss, real happiness, concrete truth, acceptance, honor, glory, and everything you have ever wanted. Heaven is right here on earth, just waiting for you to find it. Are you up to the task? Put it to the test and prove me wrong, if you can, in the end, you will come back to me with jeers and cheers of thanks and love.

All About Me
I am Buddhist. I am Independent. I am Pagan. I am a Stoner. I am Artistic. I am Confident. I am Growing. I am Intelligent. I am Compassionate. I am a Lover. I am Human. I am Real. I am Alive.
With the help and support from all my wonderful friends, family that all keep me so inspired to keep trying. Knowing that the change is worth it, and looking forward to being able to give and love completely with a full unabridged heart. Understanding of the world around me and my place in it, accepting of all peoples, all races, all religions, and all beliefs. This is my life’s goal.
You will find out all you need to know about me by reviewing my interests, which are quite detailed in thier complexity. I hope you enjoy.
I am a registered Independent, and I dispise both the Democratic and Republican parties in thier entirety. They are nothing more than a system of control set up to give you the illusion that you have a choice. Wisdom is not a product of schooling, but an aquisition of knowledge gained by experience. And only those that live life to the fullest, being open to everything that comes your way. America is not a democracy. This country is run by people behind the scenes that you know nothing about. They appoint the office of president through the Electoral College and through the unfair practice of limitless campaign donations from lobyists for the oil, alcohol, tobacco, pharmecutical, and war proffiteering sections. Basically, putting the wealthiest two percent and thier interests above everyone else. Apparent in every decision made by this current administration.
