Untitled Abstraction - Rich textured impasto painting with oil on premium cotton canvas panel board.

Modern abstract expressive artwork. This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me /Retne/.

The textured and structures create a very interesting and changing look of the artwork. Painting impasto entails applying thick paint straight onto the painting surface. In this painting, I used several layers, after the complete drying of the previous layer. Impasto techniques contribute towards expressive paintings, for the thick paint adds an element of texture and movement to the painting.

Ready to hang with a hook on the back.

This is a one of a kind artwork, created and painted by me /Retne/.

The Canvas Panel measures:
(W)18x(H)24cm
(W)7x(H)9.5 inches

Painting signed on the front. Date and signed on the back.

Delivered with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY signed by myself to protect your investment as a genuinely original work.

=======================
I am inspired by many famous artists, most of modern and contemporary art. I'm interested in their works, biographies, philosophy, and techniques. Most of all I'm impressed with the works of Willem de Kooning.
I like most of all to work in the style of abstract expressionism because it is more like poetry. In poetry, there is a lot of unspoken. Everyone can see something of his own between the lines. Poetry, like abstraction, is three-dimensional, and prose is two-dimensional. Prose can be compared to photography, where everything is clear and precisely stated. In my opinion, abstraction, where not all is said, sometimes "sounds" stronger than realism, where everything is clear and understandable.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy this painting :)
