Nació en Guadalajara México el 16 de Noviembre de 1953. Desde 1978 reside en Culiacán Sinaloa, donde imparte clases de pintura y dibujo en la escuela de Artes Plásticas de la UAS. Realizo estudios en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de la U de G. Ha estudiado con los maestros Rolando Arjona, Alvarado Lang, Maria Eugenia Quintanilla, Luis Nishizawa, Francisco Castro Leñero y otros.
Ha participado en mas de ochenta exposiciones colectivas en el DF, Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Culiacán, Veracruz, Cuernavaca, Oaxaca, Hidalgo, Jalapa y los Ángeles, California, entre otras, individualmente ha expuesto en mas de diez ocasiones. Ha obtenido premios de adquisición en el Salón de la Plástica Sinaloense, en 1981, 1985 1988 y 1989; el segundo premio de pintura en el 450 aniversario de la Fundación de Culiacán y el premio en dibujo del certamen Enrique Díaz de Leal de la Universidad de Guadalajara México.
