In the last two years, I became involved with my father’s illness, brain dementia (loss of mental powers), and it became a concern to create my artworks, the colors changed, and the space became dark and dull... I tried my works to show the characteristics of this disease; A person whose memory is dumb and is searching for finding himself or familiar memories in his lost memory. The viewer is also looking for familiar things or discovering the relationship among the shapes seen in front of him... By creating ambiguity and obscure and confusing spaces I wanted to induce these feelings to the my audience just as the patients with dementia who make mistake or get deceived while dealing with the realities of their surroundings.
