De kunstenaar is geboren op 9 oktober 1973, te Sint Niklaas.
Hij is in 1996 afgestudeerd te Gent als Ind. Ing.
Hij is grotendeels autodidact en heeft als kind al leren tekenen uit boeken.
Gezegend met een rijke fantasie waren zijn onderwerpen toen vooral fictieve personages, waar hij nu zich meer bezighoudt met waarnemingstekenen.
Zijn hoofd subject is de mens, en dan meer bepaald de naakte vrouwelijke figuur.
Hij volgt sinds 2008 ook de lessen figuur tekenen te Oostkamp o.l.v. Tinus Vermeersch (kleinzoon van vermaarde José Vermeersch).
De artiest is gefascineerd door de rijke geschiedenis van de tekenkunst en vind inspiratie bij kunstenaars zoals Leonardo Da Vinci, Van Dijck, Rembrandt, alsook bij de Art Nouveau van Mucha, en in de figuren van Egon Schiele.
