Biography
I skip over my childhood and the studies I didn't do, preferring to scribble or look out the window
to see if outside something was happening while the teachers were teaching.
My pictorial story began during a trip
BOMBAY 1978:
Second year living in India. No more money in my pockets.
No way for me to beg by holding out my hand.
What could I offer in exchange for a few coins?
The only thing I knew how to do was to draw, I got myself a box of white chalks.
And I drew my crazy characters on the ground (on the sidewalks of Bombay).
The Indians really liked it and I At the time, I was able to make a living from my creations.
From 1978 to 1987: it was the life of an adventurer (travel to around twenty countries). br />1987: I moved to Drôme Provençale. First creations on canvas.
Large formats on canvas will be produced in the 90s. Period rich in creations
The birth of two children meant that the moments of creation experienced ups and downs
1996: I moved to Southern Ardèche. I immersed myself for two years in digital creations.
But I felt that it was not my field. Back to painting.
2005: Internet took me out of the 039;shadow.
Collectors buy all my paintings from me..Except a few that I keep for myself.
2006: From that year on, participation in numerous Festivals and collective exhibitions d'Art Outsider.
2012: I moved to Sète
2013:Return to Southern Ardèche
A Gallery presents two paintings for sale at Drouot Paris
They were sold, therefore: Rating
After having traveled around twenty countries in my youth, I resumed traveling two years ago
In 2016 a new trip to India (country where I have been there 10 times)
In 2017, I walked the route from Saint Jacques de Compostela to Santiago
This trip strongly influenced my painting. hence the ocher hues and vibrations felt when crossing the "meseta" Spanish.
In August and September 2018: Trip to Brazil -
Currently, I live in Ardèche
To date, I estimate the number of paintings created to be around 7,000
