Pierre Coiffard, born in 1956, is a photographer living and working in Saint-Égrève, France. His passion for photography has led him to explore various themes, with a particular sensitivity for the ordinary graphics that nature reveals.
Through his lens, Pierre captures the subtle beauty of shapes and patterns created by nature itself. His project entitled "Ordinary Graphics" highlights these often neglected details, where nature transforms into a true artist, creating astonishing graphic compositions.
Among his other photographic projects, Pierre Coiffard was also interested in Cuban cities, capturing the nostalgic essence of American beauties of the 1950s. He also explored the deserts, both those nearby such as the Camargue, and distant places such as Cyprus and Andalusia.
In his series entitled "Deserts of Here", Pierre reveals the raw beauty and tranquility of these vast arid expanses, where white, wind, sand and stones blend harmoniously under an infinite sky. These minimalist and evocative landscapes capture the very essence of the solitude and grandeur of these deserts which inhabit our regions.
