Self-taught, before the age of 20, I drew exclusively in black and white in a pen engraving style, and on fantasy-oriented subjects. I only used color when I was hired as a textile designer for 18.5 years at D.Porthault (Paris), creator of luxury household linen, for special orders all over the world (hand embroidery and machine, prints, dishes.....)
At the same time, I did illustrations for the youth editions of role-playing games (Jeux Descartes), advertisements, clothing ....
Designer at Mauboussin jeweler place Vendôme, Paris: I joined the style office for the creation of all types of decorative objects for palaces at the palace. International with association of precious materials in collaboration with craftsmen.
Whatever the subject, I am particularly sensitive to detail, even invisible at first glance. There are several paintings in one, and several readings depending on the state of mind of the moment. I leave little room for chance but am unable to explain my real approach, nor describe it by convoluted expressions as in certain magazines, and which are incomprehensible to me... I am just free with the constraints that I set for myself .
