Olivier Pfleger was born in 1967,
Passionate about drawing and painting since childhood, in 1985 he tirelessly held numerous exhibitions which allowed him to be recognized and became Professional Painter in 2002.
He created his first gallery in Castillonnes with his wife Caroline Mandrafina in 2005, then a second three years later in Monflanquin, a very touristy village.
From 2011 he will participate in numerous painting competitions, festivals and exhibitions.

If Olivier Pfleger is distinguished first of all by very structured and elaborate paintings, he is gradually moving away from them. In love with freedom and guided by the energy of his gestures, he finds in oil painting with a knife a creative vibration which leads him to a destructuring of all of his canvases. The colors take precedence over the design and the details gradually tend to be erased as if to get to the point. Characters, landscapes, skies and seas intertwine to give way to the emotion of the moment. A timeless moment, not frozen, but undulating as if Olivier's knife was still working when it is already entirely turned towards a new canvas.
