Ce tableau est une représentation symbolique de la citation de Simone de Beauvoir : "La femme libre est seulement en train de naître". Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986), philosophe, romancière, mémorialiste et essayiste française, est connue pour son travail de théoricienne importante du féminisme, notamment avec son livre Le Deuxième Sexe (1949), et pour sa participation au mouvement de libération des femmes dans les années 70.
Le tableau utilise le rouge comme couleur dominante pour mettre en avant la passion, l'engagement et la détermination de la femme engagée. Les coups de pinceau expressifs et libres ajoutent une dimension de mouvement et d'urgence à l'œuvre, reflétant l'énergie de la lutte pour la libération des femmes.

Pedrola Alban is an artist whose classical training in art quickly made her want to emancipate herself to feed her creativity. Drawing inspiration from the philosophies and modes of expression of Chinese artists Zaō Wou-Ki and Chu Teh Chun, he gradually developed a personal artistic approach that was consolidated over time thanks to the influence of many other artists, such as Fabienne Verdier and Miotte.
