Patricia Saulais is a versatile artist who resides in beautiful Finistère in Brittany. His love for the art of photography began at a young age, when his parents gave him his first Polaroid instant camera. This initial experience was the starting point of an exciting adventure in the world of photography.
In the 1970s, Patricia Saulais bought her first film SLR, and that's when she began to seriously explore the world of photography. His area of expertise encompasses a wide range of subjects, from family portraits to landscapes to wildlife photography. Passionate self-taught, she learned her profession on the job, while following online training and participating in internships with professionals in the sector.
For Patricia, photography is much more than just a hobby, it is therapy, medicine for the soul. She finds refuge in her art, where she can completely escape and leave the worries of everyday life behind. Photography has become an essential passion, almost an addiction, a way to capture emotions, memories and fleeting moments of light. She views photography as a form of painting with light, where each shot is a unique canvas.
His photographic work falls into three distinct categories. First, she captures family photos, freezing precious and spontaneous moments. She then creates series of photos that serve as the basis for her pictorial works, drawing inspiration from subjects such as a beautiful door. Finally, she creates more thoughtful artistic photographs, employing various techniques and settings to express her creative vision.
Patricia Saulais' passion for painting was passed on by her father, a painter himself. Painting offers him another means of expression, stimulating his creativity and imagination. She draws inspiration from both her photographs and her mind, creating unique artistic works that captivate and move those who contemplate them.
