What does he plant who plants a tree?
He plants the friend of sun and sky;
He plants the flag of breezes free;
The shaft of beauty, towering high;
He plants a home to heaven anigh
For song and mother-croon of bird
In hushed and happy twilight heard -
The treble of heaven's harmony
These things he plants who plants a tree.
I was born and brought up in the Indian capital city of New Delhi. Paintbrush has been my constant companion since a very young age. Six years of formal education, as part of the Bachelor’s and Master’s course in Fine Art from Jamia Milia Islamia University not only helped me to refine my artistic abilities but also broadened my horizons as a painter and a creative thinker.
I derive inspirations from what I see around me, nature, buildings, objects of human devotion, anything that inspires me.
I work out of my studio in Gurgaon, a suburb of New Delhi.
