Pintor e Músico autodidata. Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Santa Úrsula (1992) e especialista em Botânica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro – Museu Nacional (1995). Técnico em Construção Civil, Construtor, Paisagista e Ativista Ambiental. Nasceu no Rio de Janeiro aos 12 de março de 1964. Atualmente reside e desenvolve seu trabalho em Portugal.
“Comecei a pintar com a mesma idade que você: aos cinco anos, na escola infantil. Talvez a diferença entre nós seja que eu simplesmente não parei.
Uso grafite, carvão, pigmentos, tintas, metais, minerais e resinas - predominantemente acrílicas – sobre as superfícies. Mas assumi realmente como Pintura Artística apenas em 1997, aos 33 anos, com minha primeira exposição: TEMPERO DO MAR. Então, eu estava estudando Biologia, fazendo música, jardins, pinturas, ao lado de crianças e da Vida.
Vejo pinturas emergindo do Infinito como pássaros no espaço desmedido de um olhar vazio. No entanto, se capturadas na gaiola do entendimento, as pinturas, embora bem tratadas, perdem seu viço e sua melodia. Qualquer domínio técnico ou idéia, portanto, não são válidos como condição: Apenas atendem, como os frutos que ficam nos pés, às visitas-pássaros dessas belezas imprevisíveis.“
