Grandeur nature

Véritable amoureux du marbre et du portrait.
Après une licence en Histoire de l'art à Toulouse, un CAP taille de pierre à Blois et une spécialisation en sculpture à Castres, Olivier DELOBEL part une année à Carrare, en Italie, pour se perfectionner dans la taille du marbre et le moulage en plâtre.
A son retour en France, il réalise le buste en bronze de Charles TRENET pour sa maison à Narbonne, sur commande de la ville.
Puis il retourne six mois à Carrare pour enrichir mes connaissances.
Il est depuis septembre 2001 installé à Narbonne, où il exerce sa profession de sculpteur.
Il réalise notamment beaucoup de portraits de particuliers, d'après modèle ou d'après photos (pour les personnes décédées par exemple), qu'il réalise en terre cuite, en bronze ou en marbre.
