Obsidian is dark and mysterious. A Music Producer, Artist, and All-round creative. 

Born 21st January 1998. Who's into creating mixed media artworks and performances. By using mixing different forms of art and adding his own twist to it. His works are often about pain and suffering or having a good time enjoying life and basic living elements

Ever since he was a child, He has been fascinated by the traditional understanding of relationships. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes debased into a dialectic of temptation, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the possibility of a new order.

In his few years of painting and creating, Obsidian has also explored sexuality and desire through different mediums and materials. A self-taught prodigy, Obsidian began painting as a means of dealing with family and life setbacks. In his recent work for 2020, he created lustful images of the female body, spotlighting sexuality and pleasure as major themes. Obsidian later experimented with abstraction and assemblage. He has returned to making paintings about the current events in 2020, the most recent being SARS. He hopes to enter a few more competitions and stand out by placing within the top 3, Obsidian falls outside the confines of any particular artistic movement or period, but he remains a seminal figure and an important influence to artists of the younger generation.

By applying a poetic and often metaphorical language, he touches various overlapping themes and strategies within his Poetry and Rap lyrics. Several reoccurring subject matter can be recognised, such as the Self-harm, Believing in yourself working, provocation and Black lives. His works often refer to music of the youth and mass culture. Obsidian currently lives and works between London, Hertfordshire and Birmingham.
