The French artist NPier photographs places where time seems to have stopped. His travels gave him ideas for these works, which are like discoveries of abandoned buildings. They look at structures through stillness and decay. NPier thinks that decay is beautiful because it shows how fragile and weak life is.
He's always looking for places that look like they belong to a different reality than our own. In his pictures, the light, the composition, and the textures of the interior remind us of a time when things were beautiful. This method takes into account how a building has been used, including its memories, shadows, and energy, or what is left behind. The picture shows a perfect moment of stillness in the flow of time, which is always moving forward
NPier lives and works in France. His work has received many awards (BIFA-Budapest International Foto Awards, Gold Winner, Architecture/Interiors, TIFA-Tokyo International Foto Awards, Honorable Mention, Architecture/Interiors in 2021….). His photographs as been published in many magazines worldwide (FUTURE NOW, ECKO, The World Of Interior…).
