Personal Details and Education

Prince Muana.  Visual artist, Congolese (Congo-Kinshasa), Higher Diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts of Kinshasa (Congo) in Visual Arts, specialising in painting;  BTS in computer graphics (Tunisia).
Professional experience

I embarked on my artistic career as a painter, after finishing my education in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa (Congo-Kinshasa). Starting in 2005, I exhibited in galleries in Kinshasa (Congo) and participated in group exhibitions.
Artistic Method

My art seeks to express the cultural beauty which is inherent in the cultural identity of a people or society. Cultural beauty not only distinguishes one people from another according to the nature of each, but it also reveals, by virtue of the diversity of cultures, the richness which the cultural universe encompasses on a world scale.
Technique

I draw in pencil, pen, charcoal, red chalk, pastel, and paint in oils and acrylic among other artistic techniques, always seeking to express this beauty through portraits and characters.
Additional information

Since the end of 2015, apart from my professional work as a painter which I exercise independently, I have been working as a ceramic decorator in a tableware and decorative arts workshop in Tunisia.
