Biography
Born in Argentina, in Buenos Aires, dual nationality British and Argentinian, of Latin-Germanic origin.
Between 1982 and 1992 I lived in Germany, France, then England, before moving to Vichy and Paris in France.
During all these years I have developed an original pictorial technique, based on the use of pure pigments directly on the canvas. This technique led me to be chosen by experts and art critics to exhibit in places like The Grand Palais of Paris.
My career as a fine artist began more than 20 years ago, it came to me because all my paintings were made only for personal pleasure at that time
The decision of my artist's name was difficult. At the beginning of my career I only used my two first names "Claudia-Alejandra" because I wanted my identity to be completely mine, not that of a man.
Today, after careful reflection on my evolution, I decided to create a nickname, a name that reflects, in my opinion, who I have become ... MOTI (puns describing what really matters: the relationship between the web and whoever looks at it: ME & YOU)
Beyond a technical approach, my work must be seen as a whole.
Life is movement and the first of these movements is breathing. So you could say that life is breathing. Through the breath we are here and now, in the eternal present. By letting ourselves be carried away by this movement of inspiration and expiration we are in rhythm with the Whole. The mastery of breathing is the fundamental point of dance for example.
My pictorial approach is confronted with the evolution of Being, the conversation with the canvas in the here and now, the process of creation, movement and therefore breathing, the one that makes us evolve through awareness of our present.
I also like to go towards openness, the union of a Whole and go beyond appearances. This is why my paintings will sometimes represent the four elements, sometimes a play of presence or absence of the materia, sometimes clear light and then dark as at night.
Each of my paintings represents a feeling at a moment in time of a life.
I see a human being as a three-dimensional musical chord. The sounds, colors and sensations that are unique to us and different to each person's perception.
Each of my works want to be three-dimensional chords that wait to resonate in a soul, that of the one or those who want to be part of their universe.

Le Salon d’Automne rompt cette année avec ses habitudes. Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer que le Salon d’Automne 2022 se tiendra sous les verrières de la Grande Halle de La Villette, du 20 au 23 octobre 2022.
🎼En perpétuelle effervescence, avec l’ensemble des établissements présents sur le site, la Philharmonie, le Conservatoire National de Danse et Musique, le Théâtre Paris-Villette, le Zénith, la Cité des Sciences …, La Villette est le plus grand parc et l’espace culturel le plus important de Paris, un site exceptionnel pour recevoir notre évènement annuel.
⚙️C’est sous la Grande Halle, élément principal du site, fleuron de l’architecture de fer et de verre du XIXème siècle, dans sa grande nef d’une remarquable ampleur avec ses 19 mètres de hauteur, que le Salon d’Automne aura le plaisir de vous retrouver.

J'ai eu la chance de voir le travail de Moti il y a deux jours au Carrousel du Louvre à Paris. Les coups de pinceaux de ses toiles colorées évoquent le mouvement, l'élan vital, comme de multiples pas de danse avec la lumière pour partenaire. L'artiste est également une belle personne.
Le Pape nous tournent le dos, cependant il jette un coup d'oeil par dessus son épaule et dans notre direction!!! Tout n'est pas foutu....une auréole au dessus de sa tète momentanément peut être ? Vos travaux dans la galerie transparence ainsi que street art sont forts, équilibrés, spontanés....bref une pâte qui en dit long sur l'alchimie qu'il y a entre vous et le hasard. Si il existe en tout cas !!
