It was in 1968 that Jacques MOLIN, an undisputed reference in contemporary earthenware and tableware creations, and Kira his wife, a virtuoso in the research of materials and aspects, decided to create their most beautiful piece , the fruit of all their experience. 9 months later, on June 23, 1969, Nathalie was born.

It was in CHAROLLES, in an environment of permanent creation, surrounded by objects, each more magnificent than the last, that this artist’s daughter grew up. How not to, in turn, choose a creative path.

PARIS, an essential city for developing this ferment of artistic expression that lived within it, taught him the basics, and even much more, of this creative profession.

His first direction was to create decors for prestigious brands, HERMES, MANGO, etc. and to design, for more than 15 years, countless ephemeral decors.

At the same time, she alone undertook to renovate the former CITROEN GARAGE in UZES to transform this space into a prestigious exhibition space. It was with a jackhammer that she created, with her husband, her first lasting work, the future cocoon of her paintings.

The death of her father Jacques, on July 4, 2006, was a great upheaval for her which decided her to stop being ephemeral and to devote herself, full-time, to expression on canvas.

In July 2007, in the heart of the ARTS DISTRICT, the GALERIE de la FONTAINE opened its doors for the first time to present its works to the public in an environment of stone, glass and light.

But for Nathalie, this place should not only be the presentation of her paintings. She wants to open it up to other artists. “This place must live” she said, in 2008, numerous exhibitions are already planned as well as some musical evenings.

Bravo Nathalie MOLIN for this energy and this happiness that she knows how to communicate to others through her paintings, her smile and her generosity.
